Just after the one day workshop on supply chain stregthening in the presence of DM, Amit Mehrotra PO UNICEF, CDO, DDO, DPRO, etc. registration of masons has been done. The procedure followed

*Formation of selection committee
*Examination of masons on 6 questions (Tick mark)
*Orientation of masons by resource persons
*Payment to masons of TA Rs.100/- per registered mason

Global Hand Washing Day Celebration 27.10.09
As decided by the UNICEF UP and Panchayatiraj to celebrate Global Hand Washing Day in Sonebhadra, DM Sonebhadra Pandhari Yadav IAS directed to the department of Panchayati Raj, Education and all BDOs to celebrate the same at every school of the district. CDO Kailash Prakash, DPRO Ram Ratan Yadav, ABSA, DPC Anil Kesari, ADO(P), Pradhan Smt Krasna Devi along with hundreds of school children celebrate it at Primary School Pusauli GP Badauli. DM in charge washed the hands of children present at the event. Hand washing facility has been created in this school under TSC.

Supply Chain Strengthening Workshop
Quality is key to success everywhere, so in sanitation, rural pan is must in toilet construction in rural areas. The District Magistrate, Sonebhadra Mr. Pandhari Yadav said in one day workshop organized on 16.10.09 at Sonebhadra on "Strengthening of Supply Chain System" under Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC). Mr Amit Mehrotra WES Specialist UNICEF (UP) addressed the workshop and explain the analysis of bottlenecks in TSC in this workshop. Mr Mehrotra mentioned that cpacity building of the stakeholders is very important. During the implementation of TSC in Sonebhadra we must understand the science of toilet construction and that is very easy to understand.
Department of Panchayati Raj has organized the workshop with the support of UNICEF (UP). DPRO Mr Ram Ratan Yadav directed to alll the present Gram Panchayat Vikas Adhikaris to use the rural pan. State coordinator Wakeel Ahmad gave a presentation on technical aspects of the toilet construction. CDO Prakash, DDO N P Singh, DSS Sushil Pandey, ADPRO Mirapur, DPC Anil Kesari, Ashish Pathak NGO, Alok Kumar (Baccha) gave their valuable effort to organize the workshop.
